Become a Volunteer in Adams County 4-H

The Adams County 4-H Programs Committee is a group of adult 4-H volunteers who have taken on the responsibility for raising funds to support non-profit 4-H programs throughout Adams County. To sign up as a volunteer please contact the Adams County Extension Office, or follow the steps on the 4-H website.

About Us

The Adams County 4-H Members’ Council is made up of 4-H members from around the County. All 4-H members are invited to come and get involved. The purpose of Council is to plan, design and implement county wide 4-H activities while learning leadership, decision making, and program development. Some of the activities sponsored by the Members’ Council include: Cloverbud Easter Egg Hunt, 4-H Movie Night, Countywide community service projects and the Annual Achievement Banquet.


Meeting Times

Meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm except for August. Times and location are posted in the Adams County 4-H Calendar.

Tax Information

Your donation to Adams County 4-H is deductible as a contribution for federal income tax purposes under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code, pursuant to rulings issued April 24, 1946 and February 9, 1973, by the Internal Revenue Service to the United States Department of Agriculture. In exchange for this contribution, you have received "nothing in return".
