About Us

In providing a venue for the 4-H Youth Exhibitors of livestock projects, these young individuals can realize their rewards for the hard work and long hours required of their livestock projects.

The success of the Sale is made possible by the generous contributions and donations of individuals and businesses alike. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or buyer, please contact us.

2021 Sale

The 2021 Adams County Jr. Livestock Sale will be Saturday, August 7th at 10:00am in the Sale Barn.

The Adams County Fair and Jr. Livestock Sale mark the culmination of hard work and commitment as 4-H youth exhibit and compete with new market projects each year. What they experience in the 4-H program adds to their lifetime of knowledge and leadership, which makes our community stronger. Your support of the sale benefits the young person whose animal you purchased in many ways, such as scholarships, college savings, and future 4-H projects.

This year’s sale event will begin with breakfast outside the Sale Barn from 8:30am to 10:00am. Along with great food, you will have the opportunity to visit with the 4-H livestock exhibitors who will be participating in the sale. Don’t miss this opportunity to see just how rewarding your support can be! Enclosed are your pre-registered bidder number, parking pass, breakfast ticket, and sale brochure.

We are also adding an online option for the sale this year. You will be able to bid live online or make add-ons through this platform.

The Adams County Junior Livestock Sale is a 501c3 non-profit, so part or all of the animal purchase price may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
